Rejoice!
Pax Christi’s Mennonite roots, as well as our present diversity, can be found in the richness of the repertoire on our first CD – Rejoice!
The works include reflections on our German heritage, selections derived from the British cathedral tradition, and samples from the choir’s work in the field of oratorio. Several Canadian compositions are also presented, including works by well-known Toronto composer Healey Willan and Mark Sirett of Kingston. Hymns on this recording are augmented by our audience. The recording includes Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow, a traditional Mennonite hymn of worship and celebration.
Featuring Pax Christi Chorale.
Stephanie Martin, conductor.
