Pax Christi Chorale has been hailed by critics and audiences as one of Canada’s finest oratorio choirs. But the critics and patrons know only half the story. Since its founding in 1987, Pax Christi Chorale has connected people of all ages and walks of life through the power of singing. Many of our singers have been with the choir since its founding, forging long lasting relationships that have sustained them for decades, and most especially through the challenges of the past two years.

We are so grateful to the members of our community whose donations are used to cover the many expenses associated with presenting our choral music concerts; guest musician fees, renting rehearsal and performance space, purchasing the music we sing. We also allocate a portion of each donation towards our education and outreach programs; initiatives that nurture the next generation of choral singers and leaders, helping to ensure that choral singing will continue for generations to come. Make an Individual Gift to Pax Christi Chorale

You individual gift will be allocated towards our annual operating budget of $200,000. Your gift will support our concerts that move and inspire; will enable young singers to learn from our artistic professionals while contributing to the overall artistic goals of the organization; and will help to defray the more mundane but vitally important administrative costs that keep us going week by week.

See whether your company has an Employee Matching Gift Program

Some corporations will match the charitable contributions of their employees up to a certain amount. Pax Christi Chorale gladly accepts and acknowledges these types of donations. Check with your employer or corporate HR department to see if your company will match your contribution to Pax Christi Chorale.

Make a Gift to the Pax Christi Chorale Investment Fund

In 2020, Pax Christi Chorale was the recipient of an outstanding major gift to the choir. This gift was used to create a new Pax Christi Chorale Investment Fund. The development of an investment fund had been under board discussion for several years, predicated on the concern that stable funding for our annual operations is a continuing challenge. Through this generous initial gift, subsequent donations and prudent investment practices, the Investment Fund now stands at $150,000.

Income generated from the Investment Fund will be transferred annually to Pax Christi Chorale’s operating budget, while ensuring that the principal remains intact.
